The Illinois Patrons of the Arts Invite You to the travel with them to Rome in September 2017.

We are excited to continue our journey of “Art and Faith” in the Eternal City of Rome in September.  Using both art and architecture as organizing principles of focus, highlights of the journey include the following:

• Exclusive Patron’s behind the scenes visits throughout the Vatican, including a private tour of the Sistine Chapel with Dr. Liz Lev, followed by a private dinner.
• A day trip to the medieval town of Sienna, including a visit to a winery located in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Val d’orciao.
• Visiting the Apostolic Palace and Gardens at the Holy Father’s Summer Residence in Castel Gandolfo, followed by lunch at the Papal Farm.
• Enjoy unparalleled dining and accommodations at the Grand Hotel de Minerve.
